073. In the early beginnings of their shop, the Twins always closed early on Fridays, so that they could “test” to make sure all their products were working right. They would go to bed until one in the morning; they spent seven extra hours in their shop making a complete mess of things. Good thing they no longer lived with their parents.
072. Fred’s Patronus was a large, silver fox. George’s was a marten, which is part of the weasel family. When Fred died, George’s changed to the fox. To many people’s surprise, he was able to produce his Patronus whenever, because, even though his happiest memories were with his brother, they were his /happiest memories/, and Fred being dead didn’t change that.
071. The Twins invented the game of Exploding Snap.
070. On every April Fool’s Day, aka their birthday, the Twins would pull a mega-prank on either their friends, family, or the entire Hogwarts school. Their best prank that they pulled was for their eighteenth birthday, when Dolores Umbridge was teaching at their school.
069. The one and only time the Twins had a time-out was when they were three. Their mother caught them poking a match at infant Ron, and she yelled at them. She put them in a corner, and told them to stay there for ten minutes. They only stayed until their mother left the room two minutes later. They never had a time-out after that.
067. Angelina and Fred dated all the way up until the October of their seventh year. That’s when Angelina broke it off with Fred, because he wasn’t taking their relationship seriously enough.
066. When the Twins first went to get their wands, George tried out Fred’s soon-to-be wand first, and Fred tried out George’s soon-to-be wand first as well. When they realized that the wands weren’t working for them, they switched. They’ve kept their wands since.
065. The Twins have been told by many people that their hands are very nice.
064. When Fred and George were born, their parents were very wary, especially considering what day they had been born on.
063. When Fred and Angelina were together, George spent his time with Katie. He liked hanging out with the Chaser, since she was on the Gryffindor Quidditch team with him. On nice days, the pair of them would go out and fly around the grounds, racing each other. They were almost never caught.
062. After the Yule Ball, Fred and George threw a party for all the sixth and seventh years in Gryffindor. They made sure the younger kids were all in bed first, before the party started. It was at that party that Fred and Angelina shared their first kiss.
061. Fred and George nicked Bill’s broom before their brother left for his seventh year of school. When Bill wrote home, the letter was frantic, as Bill thought he had lost it on the Express. Fred and George had to excuse themselves so that their parents wouldn’t suspect anything. They figured it out eventually, but not before Bill ransacked the entire Gryffindor common room looking for it.
Top Seven Gred and Forge Head Canons #2

7) #47: Fred was the one who figured out that Ron liked Hermione, even before his younger brother realized it. It was in Ron’s first year—the Twins’ third year—and Fred and George were determined to get Ron and Hermione together. It wasn’t until the War, where Fred…left…that the Twins’ job with Ron and Hermione was complete. That was another reason why George was bitter about Ron and Hermione’s relationship; it was something he and Fred were working towards, and Fred couldn’t even see it for himself. - 42 notes - http://gredandforgeantics.tumblr.com/post/8018398172/047-fred-was-the-one-who-figured-out-that-ron-liked

6) #31: When Ron was born, the Twins thought: “Great! A little brother we can torture!” When Ginny was born, the Twins thought: “Great. We get to beat up her boyfriends when she gets older.” Needless to say, they spoiled their sister rotten. They also taught her some of their better pranks. - 45 notes - http://gredandforgeantics.tumblr.com/post/7910854722/031-when-ron-was-born-the-twins-thought-great-a

5) #45: When Harry came back into the Great Hall after everything was taken care of, George cornered the Boy Who Lived Twice. He was furious with Harry; he honestly thought that it was Harry’s fault that Fred was dead. “It’s your fault!” he screamed at the black-haired boy. “It’s all your fault that Fred’s gone! You call yourself my friend, but what did you do? You got Fred killed!” He raised his fist, and before anyone could stop him, punched Harry in the jaw. “I hate you!” he yelled, before going back to his fallen Twin. A year later, George would apologize to Harry, saying that he wasn’t thinking clearly at the time. It took George a year to realize that Harry wasn’t at fault for Fred’s death. But, that day was the only time anyone had seen one of the Twins out of their mind with grief and anger. No one wanted to see it again. - 59 notes - http://gredandforgeantics.tumblr.com/post/8007364455/045-when-harry-came-back-into-the-great-hall-after

4) #39: Whenever they hung out in the Gryffindor common room, the Twins claimed the couch. Usually, they stretched out across it so that no one else could sit on it. That didn’t stop some people from sitting on the couch. Ron, Harry, and Hermione seemed to ignore the Twins and just sit down on top of them. When that happened, Fred and George rolled over, knocking the Golden Trio to the ground and causing the other students in the common room to laugh. - 101 notes - http://gredandforgeantics.tumblr.com/post/7916342130/039-whenever-they-hung-out-in-the-gryffindor-common

3) #52: During the battle, George wasn’t near his twin when Fred fell. In fact, he hadn’t even seen Fred before he fell. George was fighting a female Death Eater when he felt as though part of him was ripped out of him, and he sank to the ground, still defending himself from the Death Eater. Tears streamed down from his face as he tried to catch his breath, trying in vain to get up and go to his Twin. When Voldemort withdrew his troops, George stumbled to his feet, and staggered down the hallway towards Fred and Percy; Percy, who was usually so emotionless, was sobbing at the side of Fred, and George knew that his gut was right. His best friend, his partner-in-crime, his Twin, Fred Weasley, was dead. He collapsed next to his brother, unable to handle it. - 135 notes - http://gredandforgeantics.tumblr.com/post/8061630599/052-during-the-battle-george-wasnt-near-his-twin

2) #17: When George came to his senses after Fred’s funeral, he looked for his twin’s ghost at every place they loved: The Burrow, their shop, Hogwarts… To George’s increasing disappointment and grief, he couldn’t find Fred anywhere. He went back to Hogwarts to find Nearly Headless Nick. As he searched for the ghost, a voice popped up out of nowhere. “Georgie, why are you so sad?” George whipped around and saw his deseased brother. When he ran to his twin, Fred held out a hand for him to stop. “I can’t stay for long, Georgie. I just wanted to say that I love you. Don’t ever forget that.” George watched in pain as his Twin left him. That was what made him spiral into a deep depression that took him a good three years to get out of. - 351 notes - http://gredandforgeantics.tumblr.com/post/7891033069/017-when-george-came-to-his-senses-after-freds

1) #42: Harry watched when Ron came up to George, and the distraught twin flung his arms around his younger brother. Harry knew of the bond between the Twins, but he hadn’t known how deep it actually went. He realized now that when Fred had died, George had lost half of himself, and his soul. Harry didn’t know what to do; he just stood there and watched as his friends wept over one of his good friend’s body. He had a feeling that George would never truly recover from the loss of his best friend, brother, and Twin: Fred Weasley. - 440 notes - http://gredandforgeantics.tumblr.com/post/7946341754/042-harry-watched-when-ron-came-up-to-george-and-the

060. George once turned Ginny into a chinchilla. Fred then hid their younger sister from their mother, afraid of Molly’s wrath. Ron was the one who found the red chinchilla, and ran and told Arthur. The children managed to keep this hidden from their mother, with Arthur’s help, of course. Molly has never found out.
059. When the Twins were five years old, they made a pact.
